Your offline workshop companion for woodworking projects.
ChickForge does not require you to create an account, and does not use analytics SDKs, advertising networks, or any kind of tracking. We do not know who you are, what projects you build, or how you use the app.
Everything you create in ChickForge — projects, cut lists, wood and material inventory, tools, measurements, sketches, journal entries and progress photos — is saved locally on your iPhone or iPad, using Apple's on-device storage frameworks. None of it ever leaves your device unless you choose to export or share it.
If you delete the app, this data is permanently removed along with it.
Camera & Photo Library — used only when you choose to attach a photo to a project, stage or journal entry. Photos are stored in the app's local storage and are never uploaded anywhere.
Notifications — used to remind you about tool maintenance (like sharpening a blade or charging a battery) that you schedule yourself. These reminders are generated and delivered entirely on your device — no push notification server is involved.
ChickForge lets you export project cards, cut lists, shopping lists and backups, or share them through Apple's Share Sheet. These actions are always started by you, and the content goes only to the destination you pick (Messages, Mail, Files, AirDrop, etc.) — we are never a party to it.
ChickForge is not directed at children and does not knowingly collect any information from anyone, regardless of age — because it doesn't collect information from anyone at all.
Since your data lives only on your device, you are always in control of it. You can delete individual projects, photos or entries at any time from within the app, or remove everything at once by deleting the app itself.
If this policy ever changes, we'll update the "Effective" date at the top of this page. Continuing to use ChickForge after a change means you accept the updated policy.
If you have any questions about this privacy policy, reach out any time.
